Silicone Oil Infused Grommets– lubricants for the strings.  This produces more spin and and a bigger sweet spot.

New Frame Shape– A thinner beam increases aerodynamics and head speed, and a 1.9% wider string bed width across the 2 and 10 o’clock position increases ball contact area for a larger sweet spot and increased launch angle.

Ray’s assessment– This is one of the best frames for an intermediate advanced player.  The VCore 98 Gen. 7 has it all: access to spin, good precision, solid feel, and a little pop for the big serve and.  You have waited years to be good enough for a racquet like this.  You are ready to start separating yourself from the other local hitters and take a spot on at the top of your section.  You might already have a promising college career ahead of you.  Swing for the fences and know this racquet is gonna provide some sweet spin.  Use Yonex PolyTour Rev as a whole set or blend it with Head Hawk Touch in the crosses for a little more pocketing.
